From the Bottom of the Biotope

Today, on a windless slope,
I looked up and saw the diffuse reflection of emerald green.
Who are you that look down on me from the land of the wandering.

Who am I?
A pet animal, a guinea pig,
or a purpose for someone's life?
A sample product for the future?
Here is the place where they can end me with the flick of a switch.
The biotope created by you, whose name I do not know.

But nobody can take away from what I’m thinking at the bottom of the mossy water.
Nobody.

Longing fills my heart.
I'll give them all my time and space.
I'm in the heat of the moment enough to not be distracted by them.

and we all want to be in the light.
How can you be so close to the light and still be looking at me?
